Ava Pointe Shoe with #2.5 Shank and Broad Toe Box
Arabesque like a professional in the Ava Pointe Shoe. This premium pointe shoe has a broad, feathered toe box and a combination, full 2.5″ leather board and red board shank that offers flexibility to the arch. Features a high and wide platform for much needed balance at the barre. Removable medical grade gel cushion is placed on the internal edge of the platform for added comfort. Ideal for a broad (Roman) foot. Pro Tip: When attaching Bunheads® ribbons and elastics to pointe shoes that have rose colored lining, a medium needle with a small eye works best. Suggested Fitting: For first time pointe shoe shoppers, we recommend a professional fitting at your nearest Capezio retail store.

Brought my 4 year old niece to Rosy Cheeks to find her first pair of tap shoes. It was our first time there. We had arrived at the same time as another a family. The one employee there at the time Rhea did an amazing job greeting both girls looking for shoes. Took them to the back together and made each of them feel super special. They were both super excited to tell Rhea about their upcoming dance classes and she was just as excited to hear about it. Once she got the girls their shoes she took the time to fit test them separately . We decided to walk around a moment to check out all the other great stuff they had. I have to say I was super impressed by the selection of leotards they had. So many colors and designs.
I would recommend this shop to anyone in dance or gymnastics.
I've been bringing my daughter to Rosy Cheeks for the past seven years and plan to continue indefinitely. Recently, I brought my daughter in for a new pair of ballet slippers. They took at least 15 minutes finding the right fit and style for her, and easily confirmed what was expected at her ballet studio in terms of footwear. We also picked up three leotards for gymnastics - and the sales associate ensured proper fit. I am so grateful that we have this locally owned store where they take time to make sure the products they are selling fit the dancer (and/or gymnast) and also meet the expectations of the studio or gym. This kind of service is rare these days.
I highly recommend Rosy Cheeks and am so grateful that we have this resource available in Madison!

They did an amazing job fitting my daughter for her first set of pointe shoes. They took their time with her, explained the process and importance of doing things correctly not to injur herself, and let her try on several different versions of pointe shoes to see which felt best on her. I highly recommend this place.

The selection and service were excellent! My feet are size 11 women's and they did have options in stock that fit me (which I can't say for every shoe store). The employee who helped fit me and my friend was highly knowledgable and efficient, we got what we were looking for in only about 10 minutes!
